Football Signups ages 7-12

The Spalding Parks and Recreation Department reminds you it?s time to start thinking about registering your child for Recreation Football! Due to the cost of providing this very popular program the fees will be a bit higher. This program has not seen an increase in fees for several years; however, due to the increased costs of field maintenance, utilities and the mandated replacement of helmets, an increase in registration fees could not be avoided. This registration fee also includes a $10.00 per player ?user fee? which is being charged to all youth sports participants to help cover the increasing costs of utilities and maintenance for each program. A limited amount of partial scholarships will be available on a first come basis.

Football registrations will be accepted on Saturdays only beginning July 14 through August 4 at City Park Community Center from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Please note that lines are shorter during the first few weeks of registration!

A birth certificate must be presented at sign ups. The age control date is the player?s age as of September 1, 2012.

Any youth registering must be accompanied by their parent or guardian.

All registrants must be weighed at registration.

Tackle leagues for ages 7-12 is $90.00.

Flag Football league for ages 5-6 is $60.00.

Football equipment will be issued during registration hours.
